Hi, I’m jessica.

Welcome! If you’ve found your way here, it’s likely because you’re facing challenges and seeking support—whether it’s the lasting effects of past trauma, navigating the changes that come with pregnancy or parenthood, or managing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or other life stressors.

Whatever brought you here, I’m truly glad you’ve taken this step. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where you feel empowered to fully engage in your healing journey. I hope to help you find strength, resilience, and lasting relief from the challenges you’ve been facing.

My Approach

I am a certified EMDR therapist, specializing in this evidence-based approach to treating trauma and related disorders. Additionally, I have training in perinatal mental health and am passionate about supporting women on their healing journeys. My work focuses on helping women heal the deep roots of their trauma so they can experience greater happiness and peace. I also have a special dedication to supporting new mothers through every stage of pregnancy and postpartum.

ABOUT ME

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2011 and completed my Master’s in Clinical Practices at the University of Hartford in 2013. During my graduate training, I interned at Wheeler Clinic’s LifeLine program in New Britain, CT, a specialized program for women experiencing trauma and substance addiction. I later joined the team as a clinician, where I developed a deep passion for working with women on their healing journeys.

Following my time at LifeLine, I continued working with individuals facing co-occurring disorders at Rushford Center in Glastonbury, CT, where I facilitated Intensive Outpatient and outpatient groups as well as individual therapy. In 2017, I completed my EMDR basic training and saw firsthand how transformative this approach could be for clients. This inspired me to start my private practice in 2018, allowing me to focus on the work I am truly passionate about—helping individuals heal from trauma and reclaim their lives.

Since starting my private practice, I have become certified in EMDR and have pursued advanced training in EMDR, specializing in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociative disorders. I have also completed training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and am currently working toward certification in perinatal mental health. My goal is to provide compassionate, specialized care to support women through all stages of healing, from trauma recovery to the unique challenges of pregnancy and postpartum.

In my free time, I love getting lost in a good thriller book, exercising, going for walks, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with my family and our two cats.
